|Variable search frequencies
With Quest Q35, you also have the possibility to change the frequency of the search. For example, if you want to search for larger buried objects, it is recommended to set the Q35 to 5 kHz. If you are only looking for small jewellery items or perhaps small gold nuggets, it is best to set the Q35 to 21 kHz. If you are only looking for coins, it is best to set it to 13 kHz. 13 kHz is a good general purpose search frequency that will work well for most searches. Variable search frequencies combined with frequency shifting also provide more opportunities to avoid sources of interference.
